Accounts
How do I subscribe to a pro account?
If you do not already have a standard account, you can register directly for a pro account. Alternatively you can upgrade your account at any time by visiting the upgrade page .
How to I check the type of account I have?
You can check to see the type of account you have by logging in. The type of account will be displayed next to your username in the top right-hand corner of the page.
When will my Pro Account expire?
You can check when your pro account will expire at any time by logging in and visiting the My Accounts page

Events
How do I add an event?
You can easily add an event from the My Events page. Here you can add a new event, providing a description, specify the location, tickets and ticketing method. Remember before you can sell tickets, you will need to publish your event.
How do I publish an event?
You need to publish an event before it is listed for sale from either the My Events page (when logged in, by hovering over the event and clicking publish) or from the event's details view, through My Events.
Why has my event expired and what does it mean?
Events expire if they have not been published before their start date. To publish this event you need to edit the start date to a later date.
How do I stop or complete sales for an event?
You can complete an event and prevent any more ticket sales being made online through TktIt, by completing the event through My Events or the event's details page.
How do I cancel an event?
Events can be canceled through the My Events page or the event's details page by clicking cancel. Once an event has been canceled, all purchasers will be notified and you will need to make refunds separately through PayPal if necessary.
Can I reuse an event's details for another event?
Yes, select copy on an event or from an event's details page to create a new event based on that event.
How do I delete events?
You can delete events at any time until they are published. After which they will remain on TktIt.com and will be automatically deleted after 60 days.

Venues
How do I edit a venue?
you can edit a venues details at any time, by visiting the My Venues area.
Why can't I delete a venue?
If an venue is in use by an event it cannot be deleted.

Promoting Events
How do I promote an event using TktIt.com?
You can promote an event using tktit.com using either our widgets, buttons or your personalised box office. Visit the promote area when logged in for more options.
What are widgets?
Widgets are the names given to small software applications. TktIt.com provides two small applications that can be put on your website or blog that automatically display a list of your published events providing a link directly to your box office page to sell tickets. Tktit.com provides a more graphical flash version and smaller lightweight html version.
I have published an event, why is it not shown on my widget?
Due to the network load widgets put on our systems we use a technique called caching to speed them up. The downside to this means that it may take up to an hour before these updates are reflected in your widgets.

My Box Office
What is My Box Office?
Your My Box Office page lists all your published events and provides the service allowing your customer to purchase tickets for your events.
How do I add /edit personalised profile text to my box office?
You can add or edit text to be displayed on your My Box Office page, by editing the Profile Text from within your My Account area.
How do I customise my Terms and Conditions of Sale?
You can edit your terms and conditions of sale through the My Account area.

Payment
How do I charge Tax on ticket sales?
If you need to charge tax on an event you can do this through PayPal. Log into your account at PayPal and within you profile page, you can setup how you would like to charge Tax under the value added tax section. For more information see http://www.paypal.com/help
How do I setup payments
When you create an event you will be asked to specify a payment email that payments for ticket purchases will be sent to.
How do I skip payments and use TktIt.com simply as a booking system?
If you set your ticket value and delivery charges to zero (0) so that the final booking total is zero, the payment process will automatically skipped.
How do I refund a payment?
Refunds need to be processed though Paypal. See PayPal Help for more information.
What are the different types of payment status?
The payment status shown, is the status as given by PayPal. For more information, please contact PayPal directly.
What does TktIt Confirmed mean?
When tktit.com receives a payment, the payment is check for validity, such as whether the payment was made in the correct currency, and/or to the specified email address etc. TktIt.com cannot guarantee the reliability of this information as it is provided by PayPal and users should double check the payment information by logging into PayPal before dispatching any tickets.

Sales
How can I track sales for my events?
You can track sales for all your events or individual events through the My Sales area, when logged in.
How do I download sales information?
You can download sales information through My Sales in csv (comma separated values) format. These can be imported into programs such as excel.
Where can I find attendees for an event?
You can find and print off a list of attendees for events you have requested attendee names, through My Sales. This information is displayed in a print friendly format, by booking name. Booking codes are also displayed so that they can be checked at the door. You can also download this information as a csv (comma separated values) file for importing into programs such as Excel.
